Once upon a time, a young married couple Jane and Shelly lived in a small city. Jane was a painter by profession and Shelly his wife, was a smart housewife. Jane goes to the local markets of the city to sell his self-made paintings to earn a bread for himself and his wife. This was the only means of the profession to him, but sadly he hardly earns something in it.
One day when Jane reached home after work, he said to his wife that he won't be able to sell anything that day and reached home with empty hands after a long tiring day. Meanwhile, his wife was doing her household works and listens to him without saying anything. He asked his wife that should he quit this profession and works for something else. His wife still did not say anything to this too and Jane said that he got his answer and he knows what his dear wife wants. He then said that on next day he would go and find a job in an office and quit the profession which he loves the most.
Jane sells paintings not only because it was the only means of earnings for them but he made paintings because of his passion for arts and drawing paintings. But now he decided to left this profession and find a job to get a secure earning source.
That night Jane couldn't sleep and think about his love to paint, the whole night. Soon his eyes get teary, but sadly he made his eyes closed towards his wish to paint and firmly decided to find a job the next day.
He left his home the next day by saying goodbye to his dear wife and pet dog Bruno, to find a job for himself but who knows something disastrous was waiting for him to happened. While searching for work he met with a major accident on the road of the city and he lost his eyes into this accident. His wife couldn't stop her tears and was very much saddened due to this heavy loss upon their family. Doctors said that his optic nerve has been damaged and a major operation could help Jane to get his eyes back.
Shelly was worried and very upset and couldn't able to find a way to collect enough money for Jane's operation. She had to arrange 10,000 dollars for her husband's eye surgery anyhow. Shelly asked among her relatives, friends for help and even went to the bank to apply for a loan but all goes in vain, no one was ready to help her.
Sadly, Shelly went back to the hospital, where Jane got his consciousness and was aware of his blindness. They both came to their home with a heavy heart and teary eyes. They were trying to get things to normalize as much as they could and Shelly got a job in a cafe meanwhile. Jane's senses were also becoming very strong with time and he realized that he haven't felt something so strongly before. He was making himself manageable for himself as his wife was being busy with her work. With the help of his strong senses, he able to walk and manage his small things independently. As he was not able to do any work along with this situation, he has caged in his mental prison and started feeling depressed when one day a hope to get back his life normal knocks on his door. When he was listening to the radio, he gets to hear about an advertisement for a painting competition having a winning prize of 10 thousand dollars. He was very happy upon hearing this but his happiness gone gently when he gets realized his current condition.
His dog Bruno started barking and lead him towards his easel to paint. Jane touched his brushes and took a smell of his painting colors and without thinking of what he should draw he takes out a brush and started painting through the eyes of his inner sight. From then he started painting every day and put his imagination into the canvas.
One day as he completed his painting his wife Shelly came to him and looked at this painting and was amazed to see the miracle that happened. She was shocked and amazed at the same time and said to her husband that he had never painted that way before. Jane said, that he never saw the world like this before, it feels like his mind has become more colorful than it was ever before.
After seeing the masterpieces that her husband had made, she enrolled her husband in the painting competition that was going to be held next week. She informed her husband that they need to submit the painting in six days and said to her husband that he should draw whatever he wants, whatever his soul allows him to paint, without thinking about the competition and its results. Jane knows that upon winning this competition, he could get his eyes back by submitting the surgery fee of dollar 10 thousand to the hospital, and deep down his wife also wanted him to win.
Soon five days have passed and Stanely was ready with his painting. Upon seeing the painting, his wife was amazed again and couldn't able to stop herself from looking at the painting again and again and precisely. She said to Jane the painting he has made was enchanting and powerful. They submitted the painting to the competition the next day, and the judges were reached at the results with two paintings, one is made by Russell Morries and the other by Jane. The results were announced soon and Jane's painting was the winning painting of the competition.
The competition host announced Jane's name and requested him to come on the stage and collect his prize money. At this moment, when Jane with his wife came to the stage everyone was shocked upon knowing the fact that the winning painting was made by a blind person. The audiences also had doubts in their minds that how such things as this could become possible. The second runner up Russell questions the authenticity of the painting and asked judges to verify the winner again, as it is impossible to draw such a masterpiece with blind eyes.
Russell said to judges to have made a painting by Jane in front of everyone so that they can trust him and his talent. Judges are also agreed to this and asked Jane to make a new painting in front of everyone's eyes and after that, only the could be able to come upon the results. Jane agreed to this at started painting, the very moment then.
Soon he gets done with his painting, and everyone there was shocked upon what he has made. A mind-blowing and wonderful painting was made by a completely sightless person. Without wasting a moment the Judges gave the prize money to Jane respectfully and apologized for everything that happened there. Russell also apologized to Jane for his harsh behavior and praise his talent and said that the prize money deserves to him. Everyone congratulated Jane and his wife and in the mids of all this Jane found the reason why Russell wants to win the competition so desperately as he needed the prize money for his father's operation.
Upon knowing about this Jane gave the money to Russell without wasting a single moment and said to him that he could take the prize money and get his father's operation done with that. Russell had left with no words to say thanks to Jane and was filled with tears in his eyes as he doubted Jane and now Jane was helping him in the time of needs.
Too late to found his father dead, Rusell reached the hospital. He started crying at his father's corpse and decided to donated his father's eyes to Jane. After few days, Jane got a call from the hospital to get informed that the hospital has found a donor for him and it was free. The next day Jane and Shelly went to the hospital to get Janés surgery done and after a few hours of operation Jane opened up his eyes. He was very happy to see his dearest wife and everything around him.
Russell had also come there and to return the prize money which Jane had given him. Jane said to Rusell what he is doing, he needed the money for his father's operation and now he is returning it to him. Rusell said to him that he got his father's eyes now and feeling very happy to donate his father's eyes to Jane. Jane rolled out with tears upon knowing this and he feels very sorry for his father.
Russell then said to him that he doesn't need to feel sorry s what he did back at the competition was rare and something that had touched his heart. He couldn't save his father but at least he found himself able to save Jane's life by getting his sight back to his life and said that his father's eyes could now see the world through Jané's eyes.
