Don't value what you have, value who you have

Hello friends, we most commonly look around for what we not have but we forget to think about what we have in this race of having and have not and we value the things more that we do not have than the things that we have in our life. Then here the question arises that if we do not value and focus on the things we do not have then how can we get them?. This is a very tricky question that life offers us so that we always got stuck in the race of what we have or whatnot instead of enjoying every moment of life with the things and people we have. So my today's story is based on this fact that why should we do value the things we have in our life than the things we don't have in it.

Once two friends were walking through the desert. At some point in the journey, they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one on the face. The friend who had slapped by the other friend was hurt, but without saying anything to the other friend, he simply wrote in the sand that today his friend best friend slapped him on the face. The two friends kept on walking until they found an oasis, and they decided to take a bath there. The friend who got slapped suddenly got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but luckily his friend saved him. After standing up and recovered he again wrote but this time, he wrote on a stone that today his best friend saved his life.

The other friend who slapped his best friend asked him that when he hurt him he wrote in the sand and when he saved his life he wrote on a stone. What's the reason behind it? To this, the other friend replied that when someone hurts you, you should note it down in sand where winds of forgiveness and kindness erase it away and when something does good for you, you must engrave it on the stone, where no-one can erase it.

So here the story gets its end. Now we can analyze the fact that what we should value in our lives and what, not by this simple short story example of two best friends. Friends, life is too short to quarrel but we can make it long by not quarrel and forgive the things that don't have something meaningful in it.
