Hey friends, You may have the idea from the title about the fact upon which based my today's story. I heard people saying that I will help humanity when I become rich or I will help the nation when I have a lot of money in my bank account. When someone demands help from us, we generally thought that if we may rich we can help, and then we simply ignored the persons that demanded help from us just because of this thought that I don't have enough money to help someone, the money I have right now is already not sufficient for my family so how could I help someone by giving even a little from that money. Do we ever think that instead of ignoring or moving ahead from that person who demands help from us, we should listen to him at least once? Does he demands help with money from you?? Does he said so at once??. No, It doesn't like that anyone who is demanding help from us is money help always, who knows he was demanding help in some other way, that we surely can but we didn't, because of this thought. Let's move ahead to the story and then decide what we should do or not when anyone demands help from us.
A person asked the richest man of today's world, Bill Gates, "Do you know anyone who is richer than you in this world?". To this Bill Gates replied, "Yes, absolutely I know about a man who is richer than me." He then narrated a story. He said that it was the talk of that time when he wasn't really rich or famous as he is now. He was at the New York Airport when he saw a newspaper vendor. He really wanted to buy a newspaper but found that he didn't have enough money to buy it. So he left the idea of buying the newspaper there and returned the newspaper to the vendor. He told him while returning that he doesn't have enough change to buy. The vendor then said to him that no worry, he'll give it to him for free, and on his much insistence he took the newspaper. After 2-3 months of this incident, coincidentally he again met the same newspaper vendor at the New York Airport and had a shortage of change to buy the newspaper again. The vendor then offered him the newspaper again at free of cost. He refused to take it for free this time also but the vendor said that he was sharing the newspaper from his profit and he wouldn't be at a loss so he can take it without any guilt and he then took the newspaper from the vendor.
After 19 years he became famous and has an identity among people. Suddenly he remembered that vendor. He began searching for him and after a long search, he founded the same newspaper vendor at a place and asked him about himself. The vendor said that yes, he is Bill Gates. Then again he asked the vendor that does he remember he once gave him a newspaper for free. Then the vendor said that yes, he remembers and he had offered him the newspaper twice. At this, he said to the vendor that now he wants to repay for the help, the vendor offered him that time. He said to him, whenever he wants something in life he can tell him, he'll fulfill his wish. The vendor smiled and said that does he really think he would match his help from the help he is offering. He questioned at this and said why? The vendor then explained to him that he helped him when he was just a poor newspaper vendor and he is trying to help him when he has become the famous and richest man in the world. How could his help match the vendor's help?
That day he realized that the newspaper vendor is richer than him because he didn't wait to become rich to help someone, he helped someone in his current situations. People need to understand and accept this reality that the truly rich person are those who have a rich heart rather than a rich pocket. All you need is a rich heart to help someone not a lot of money.
So here the story ends with this moral value that it's not important to have a richer bank balance or a lot of money to help someone needy. All you need is actually a rich heart and a strong will to help someone in times of need.
